We give our bottles to military bases around the country, and overseas. We organize them by giving them to specific units on bases. This way, we can ensure that we can document who gets a flask and distribute the flasks evenly. We have a variety of ways that we deliver the bottles to bases. First, we drop them off ourselves, and hand them over to the post offices at the bases. This allows the post office to deliver the bottles to the specific units. Why hand deliver them to the bases? We want to ensure that the bottles go to the intended unit, and want to be as hands on as possible.
In addition to dropping the flasks off at bases and having the post office deliver them, we occasionally set up as a vendor on base and just hand the bottles out to people passing by, who show us a valid military ID, once again, trying our best at creating a hands on approach to the delivery process.
When we give to men and women overseas, we send via APO/FPO to the unit that is overseas. The APO/FPO offices work well and do a great job of delivering our flasks to the intended units. Every December, we dedicate the month to send only to those overseas, and those who are away from their families. We get requests via our social media platforms from people in units, brigades, etc. stationed outside of the country. We will send them all bottles for the holidays.
Recently, we gave a small unit of about 40 Air Force stationed in Afghanistan bottles for the holidays. We were contacted by someone in the unit who is looking to boost moral of the people who are not with their families for the holidays. When we ship the bottles, we place a note inside the bottle for the recipient to read. This note is written when the buyer purchases the bottle and at checkout. We do this to add personal touches from the people who purchase the flasks, and to give the recipient a special message from the purchaser. If you are a service member whether you are active, reserve, or a veteran, and interested in getting on our list to receive flasks, please send us an email or message on social media and we will be sure to write your name down for receiving flasks.
Forgot to write a note? Thats ok. Either email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your note and name the order was purchased under, and we can update our system, or we have a generic note that we send on behalf of the your purchase. We will write your first name, last initial and the state the bottles was purchased in.
Who We Give To?
We give to any active duty, or veteran service member. They may be overseas, or next door. We keep a roster of who has received the flasks, and who hasn't yet, and we strive to get a flask in every service members hands to show a token of our appreciation for what they do on a daily basis.
If you are a military member, and are curious about how to get your free flask, just follow us on our social medias where we will announce where we are headed next to give out the free flasks. As stated, we usually give out flasks to specific units at a time, but we also register as a vendor and will give out flasks to people passing by with a valid military ID at the base. Keep an eye out for when we do our pop up tent!
